Sébastien Bron, YORD's Managing Director, and Lucien Blanchard, Technical Manager, took part in the RTS Forum program in February 2023. They had the opportunity to present the YORD optimizer and how it works.
To better understand the origins of our solution, our co-founders explained the over-consumption of ventilation and heating systems they had observed during their previous professional experiences in the chemical industry.
As the issue of over-consumption of energy is at the heart of YORD's impact, our optimiser uses artificial intelligence to manage the operation of heating systems. This avoids wasting energy by understanding the thermal inertia of buildings, so as to produce the right amount of energy for comfort. This understanding is developed by our algorithms by processing data acquired by ambient sensors and weather forecasts.
This appearance in the programme Forum also highlighted the possibility of prioritising renovations within a building stock, which can be mobilised on the basis of an understanding of buildings.
